First off, let me apologize to those of you that I still owe traditional art to. It's been slow going. I've had to buy a few new supplies, plus it's more difficult to work on in such a small area and without my drafting table. But I'll get there! I'm working on them a little bit at a time.

Ten animal/anthro challenge

I ran across the 10 animal/anthro theme on 's page, so I thought I might try it out.

I plan on drawing 10 different species of animals, be they real, mythical or extinct, based on suggestions by you. I will try to go with the first ten suggested, but I might also pick and choose from those I like. If you have any suggestions please feel free to recommend one or two for me to pick from. I also encourage my fellow artists to take up this challenge (either as an anthro or animal challenge). I will probably do mostly animals, but I may try my paw at some anthro, too.

Just a few rules for suggestions:

1) NO wolves or foxes. Maybe an obscure (very obscure) canine, but absolutely no lupines or vulpines. I have enough practice with them already.

2) No big cats or domestic cats. Unusual small wildcats are okay.

3) You can suggest specific characters if you like, but I may pass over them in lieu of another non-specific animal. I don't want this to be just a free trade since I am trying to expand my art.

4) Please try to be specific with species (you know, try "Illian cloud rat" versus just "rat")

5) Background suggestions are great!
