An art trade with of her jaguar god character Tepeyollotl.

The jaguar was drawn and coloured with coloured pencils on bristol paper (and a bit of acrylic for the lighter belly that I almost completely forgot about), then I lovingly cut him out and glued him (literally) on scrapbook paper. The scrapbook paper scanned very strangely... Even though it is smooth and satiny in real life, it looks wavy and oily in the scan. Very odd... Also, the glowing bits that were added in around the lantern were easy to colour, so I probably could have just coloured the entire damn thing on this scrapbook paper without having to do a cut-n-paste. Meh, oh well.

I changed the colour of the lantern to match the base paper better. The original is pink. Sorry, Arvenia, I hope you don't mind. My muse was insistent.

The pose is loosely based on an assembled-and-glued tiger puzzle tacked to my wall. I changed the face and build considerably, and added in the big ol' feeties (as the tiger was caught mid-wade into a creek).
