Fanart for Clare Bell's Ratha series of Thistlechaser resting near a tidepool. I always imagined her as a king cheetah-like cat... probably in no small part due to the cover art for the book Ratha and Thistlechaser. The only thing modified from the original drawing is the eye colour... I originally made them bright copper. I changed them in photoshop to match her real eye colour.

I HIGHLY recommend this book series for those of you who are Warriors fans. Don't get me wrong, I love Warriors, but the Ratha series, IMO, is better. The writing style is more fluid and the depth of character psychology is just... nothing short of amazing. I grew up on these books, and now that they are back in print, you need to go out and buy them. NAO.
