Ring the bells that still can ring.
Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in.
-Leonard Cohen

I sacrifice both my best and my worst; the two are eternally entwined.

The Offering by *MoonsongWolf The suggester writes: "This artwork by MoonsongWolf is just incredible. Delicate and subtle in the colours, the offering is truly amazing. The artist even used red wine! I thought it was creative and it shows definite skill in the medium." (Suggested by *talliesynn and Featured by ^savagebinn)

All animals are equal but some are more equal than others.

It ain't hard to hold but it shines like gold; you'll remember me.

not to say that your other art isn't amazing, of course.

YOU COLORED IT. And by colored it, I mean BOY did you color it! That watercolor is so gorgeous! It's not overly-complicated, but it shows all the pretty shades and stuff. I LOVE the sacrificial fishie, too. All those pretty reds. Omnomnom. And the pink crystal is such an awesome touch! It really makes his wrist thingy stand out.

I really really love this. I loved it when I first saw the sketchysketch, and now I'm thrilled to see it colored so beautifully <333

Oh god, I love this.

I love the mood and attitude of the creatures. For some reason I like the rat's tail, how it's curled. His/her posture is to my liking too but I'm not sure why ;P Anyway, coloring is spot on as usual :XD:

Wow! Red wine? :) That's so cool! I used to use unusual things to paint with when I was younger. I should try it again.

Beautiful piece and wonderful job! The poem is beautiful as well. Too bad the author is unknown. :)
