Though I think that you could do something with the speech bubbles. Since the comic itself is made in a traditional media, it has its own textures, and when you put a semi-transparent white bubble, it looks like you have just put a sticker on it. Maybe you could put some texture in the speech bubble so it could blend with the rest of the comic elements?

I actually tried a few different bubble effects besides the slight transparency. Unfortunately, though, texturing the bubbles or adding more transparency both made the text too difficult to read. Although I personally thought that it looked better visually, it was just too difficult to pick out the words. We'll probably be playing with the bubbles and text more in the future, though, since I'm not really a hundred percent happy with the font, so maybe we'll hit on something that works better.
its kind of epic like LOTR so if ur into that maybe u should check it out! also the drawing is really interesting, there's lots of movement and energy in the strokes.
