Our Land is Holy by MoonsongWolf Our Land is Holy by MoonsongWolf
A small gift for *Daesiy that I started a long time ago and finally finished. Just in time for her birthday. This is her caracal character Sun, who I immediately fell in love with once I read her story.

Title is from the song Lea Halalela, which I listened to while I did the colouring: [link]

Medium: Graphite, red wine, black ink, and coloured ink

Sun is *Daesiy
Artwork is *MoonsongWolf

I got the idea to use red wine as a stain from seeing other people using coffee and tea. I figured wine would work, too, and now I'm addicted to painting with it! Although I'm sure that I'm not the first one to try it.

Haha! Awesome! It is very effective and well, I haven't heard of anyone else using it so I find it very original! :D

Ha ha, yeah, it makes a great staining agent. It dries super-fast and leaves such a lovely colour. :)
