I felt really "down" today, so I decided to do some art for myself.

Yes, it is what you think it is. I've probably taken fantardary too far with this, but at least I had fun. Warriors cats in Okami style! This was hand-inked in brushpen, scanned, then coloured in Photoshop.

Greystripe is in the front. His design was mildly inspired by the "manga" version of his character. I really like his pose, even if he does look rather grumpy. And, of course, Firestar and Sandstorm are on the rock outcropping. For some reason, I always imagine High Rock (I think that's the name) as looking much like Pride Rock. I incorporated the godly designs into Firestar's markings since the clan leader is sort of like an extension of Star Clan's power anyway. And, of course, his divine instruments are beads... with fire... and stars... I'm really lame.

Firestar's left hind leg looks wonky because of the placement of that stupid swirl. I should have just left it out. Also, no, I do not want critiques on how you think my version of these characters is "wrong" or anything like "so-and-so's eyes are supposed to be a different colour, etc. If you leave a comment to that effect, I will either kindly refer you to this description, ignore you, or respond with obscenities. Seriously, stop being nitpicks and just enjoy the art, okay?
