A view of the (very hypothetical) star Nemesis from the Oort cloud: [link]

I commissioned the incredibly talented ~kankakanka for lineart of Valkyrie the marbled tigress and Ned the rat, and she was kind enough to allow me to colour it. The background was designed and painted by me, although I am in retrospect unhappy about the flare at the base of the star.

Medium: Coloured pencil and acrylic

Lineart is © ~kankakanka

Although when I saw this I could swear it was Nemesis from the game Black & White(2001) D:

Thanks! Although I have heard of that game, I have never played it. I always preferred playing console games to PC games. :)

May I ask of A Favor?
Would you make rat anatomy so i could learn to draw rats I'm really fascinated by them and i thought i might turn to you for this purpose

I'm honestly not very good with rat anatomy myself, so I wouldn't want to mislead anyone by making a tutorial... I still don't really "get" the way that their chest muscles work! However, I recently ordered a rat anatomy/dissection guide, and I am expecting it to come in sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. If it ends up being helpful, I can scan in the pages for you when I get it. :)

Wow. I wonder how long this must've taken you? :O The detail is simply breath-taking.

I don't recall off-hand how long it took to colour, but I'm guessing it was somewhere in the 6-10 hour range. :)

Why are her eyes covered up? :noes:

She was injured in a fight with another tiger, so she keeps her wounds bandaged (with the help of her rat friend).
