A photo manip roulette commission for ~lovelaughlive of her two characters Dixi (the merle dingo, on the left) and Sunny (the labrador, on the right). They are a couple.
I tried two different character positions and five different background sets for this one! I had all of these ideas, and none of them seemed to be coming together the way I wanted them. I finally settled on a scene that I thought emphasized their personalities. Dixi seems to be rather shy and uncomfortable in whatever situation these two have found themselves in, while Sunny is letting you know in no uncertain terms that he want's you to back off of his girl. This was a lot of fun because I got to try some new techniques, but also a lot of rather dull work in cutting and reworking! It was one of those pictures that really didn't go together the first time... or the second or the third... However there is something about the perspective that i dont like, i can't really put my finger on it though... maybe the horizon line is too far down, it sort of looks as if the "lines" on the ground is exeeding the hoizon. I might be wrong but in overall a very good looking piece
