Hatha isn't really a doberman. He is an animal affectionately referred to as a mind wolf. Their true form resembles a large pale blue wolf with a darker horse-like mane and tail. They are not true wolves, but rather a separate family of animals related to dogs. Mind wolves are named so due their innate ability to alter the mental states of those around them. Hatha isn't really shape-shifting into a dog, he's merely tricking your brain into thinking you see a dog. A few rare mind wolves also possess other extraordinary powers, such as limited telekinesis. If that's not unnerving enough, a mind wolf also has a "venomous" bite that acts like a mild anesthetic and mood enhancer. You could be petting what you think is a charming husky pup without even realizing that you are being devoured alive.
Hmmm... I went for a more subdued and controlled (but not necessarily less powerful) look for this one compared to COP: Red. Also, I think I need to stop using "lock transparent pixels" when I do glowing highlights. Hatha's outline looks too crisp to me.
Thank you! I'm glad that you liked it. And I completely made up the symbol. I don't think that I had any specific meaning behind it, I was just going for a "mystical" look.
with your permission, may i use this photo for one of my newest stories? i'll be sure to credit you(:
