Traditional art is a great diversion when you don't have access to your computer.

of her character Pureheart, who is unique but thankfully free of excessive accessories. If you haven't seen JNK's gorgeous icons, go check them out! They are like tiny little works of art.
This gave me the opportunity to try something a little different, too. Instead of drawing right on my scrapbooking paper, I drew and coloured this on Bristol Vellum in coloured pencil. Then, I very carefully cut the form out by hand and pasted it. I was going to add a few outlines with gold paint, but it seemed busy enough as is.
